Adam grew up in New Zealand, developing a passion for nature and conservation through numerous camping and hiking trips. He completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland, majoring in Zoology and Marine Biology. Before undertaking a Masters of Conservation Science, also at the University of Queensland, Adam spent time interning in a wildlife veterinary clinic in Costa Rica. He also gained work experience in Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. Adam’s Masters thesis aimed to assess the potential for co-benefits to be included within Queensland biodiversity offsetting policy. In his free time, Adam enjoys hiking and nature photography.
